I was on a voyage of discovery traveling up the Oregon coast along Hwy 101 from Lincoln City towards Tillamook intent on finding incredible spots like this in Neskowin. I was inspired when I spotted this basalt sea stack that was covered with its own forest a short ways off the coast. I was lucky, it was low tide, the seafoam edges of gentle waves lapped across the flat bottomed sandy beach. I patiently waited for this special moment.
